I beg to differ. There are many places ON the Strip - the Westin is a good 15 minute walk just to get to some of the lower rent properties. So not a good place if you want to be able to walk up and down the strip.

Of course if you are like me you take taxis everywhere. Again, not a good location, the cabs don't always sit out front or in a holding pen as they do for the top Strip properties. I have sometimes been first in line and had to wait 10 minutes until another taxi shows up to do a dropoff. Not good, my vacation time is too valuable.

IMO the only reason to stay here is the price - you can often get a good SET corporate rate or use spg points on a busy weekend when other properties are charging an arm and a leg. But with the economy as it is, there are often better prices for much nicer properties on the Strip.
