The historic cities in Minas Gerais are easily accessible with busses and are excellent at that time of year, cool in the evenings. BTW, Azul was started by David Neeleman, flounder of Jet Blue although the two airlines are not related. He was born in Brazil of Amnerican Morman missionary parents.
