Not really, just lived there twice in my life and actually spoke fluent Mandarin when I was a kid. Cant have been in China for a while and not understand how much you guys are in love with the no. 8.....

Ive picked up on this peculiar habit, and actually pay extra to have 8's and 9's on the license plates of the cars I buy and my cell phone number ends in 9888 .....
