Baked brie is one of my go-to culinary party tricks. It has a very high ROI - not all
that difficult, and yet people will invariably ooh and ahh. :-: I like doing the fruit and nut combo - and for fruit, it's usually a combination of marmalade/chunky jam with some chopped dried fruit if you have it. Whatever combination of stuff happens to live in your pantry at the moment...
