Beckles has an excellent point about the level of hotel. I actually put in 2 bid.
The first was for a 5 star, no one excepted it. Then I went for a 4 star and got the westin. They list the services that they consider 4 star and I limited the geographic selection to downtown seattle, so I knew what I was getting.

As for only an $11 price diff, I agree, I would NOT have used them excpet for the first night free deal, which makes my per night cost $59.

Of course I might have been sucessful with a lower bid. I don't know if the Westin would have gone for $100, maybe lower?

BTW: The failed bid on the 5 star, was for $132.

Again, without the first night free deal, I doubt I would have used it.
