I'm trying to understand your post....so, if the property is sold out and there are no so to speak upgrades, how is there Platinum treatment "not what it should be"?

Just to clarify, this is the second night of a four night stay. In reference to the platinum treatment, I was speaking about the downgrade from king to two doubles, and the refusal to get a room that did not reek of smoke.
No I did not ask why the valet was slow. It seems to be a common theme among DC hotels. I figured if I was .....ing about the rooms, I should throw the valet portion in also.
