I believe that's changed with our latest revision in July. I distinctly remember the "one" stipulation.
Yep, had the old version laying around. This last sentence was dropped. "Numerous
switches would not be appropriate, but once in-flight, discreetly, is
permissible."
But please don't get carried away because FA's can use their judgment if it starts getting "disruptive".
