If available (AND if they're willing to upgrade you), Full Size is technically one size up from a Standard.

One size up from Full Size is Premium. Avis considers a "Specialty" to be an upgrade from anything, though. I had this argument with them before when I reserved "Premium" because it was winter and I wanted ABS in Cleveland(the page for Premium lists ABS as a feature). I got a 300 without ABS and nothing "could be done." Their argument was two-fold: 1. I was upgraded (300 is a Specialty car, which is better than premium ) and 2. That page is just "typical options" even though the page doesn't say that.
