I have found calling Chase to be useless. The only way that works for me is entering the exact amount of the pending charge via the phone system. Once I did that I was successful five out of five times.
I had previously called the automated system and entered the upcoming charge, still denied. I then called CSR and verified that the charge was legit and was told it would be allowed, denied again.
I have successfully funded an account with a chase card previously without issue.
No issues though, funding went right through on the Schwab card ^, I'll meet my 2K spend on the BA card another way (like actually using it
)
