--Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, BKK---Plats (I was on Z6H buy 4, get 2 free) normally get upgraded to a nice suite, and, in place of a Club Lounge, you can go to any of their excellent bars (including one or two that have live music!) and drink nearly anything off the menu. Also their gorgeous breakfast, either at the extensive regular buffet or poolside, plus free internet.
After a week of that treatment, it's hard to go home!
Other good treatment for me:
--St. Regis Singapore (though read the thread carefully about that one--upgrades are by no means guaranteed, and in fact seem haphazard)
--St. Regis Rome (huge suite, though no breakfast or lounge, so without an upgrade it might not have been that great)
--Le Meridien Nirwana, Bali (normally get a nice suite--though the Plat benefits sound better at the Westin, I like the LM's location in seclusion, but near to Seminyak)
--Kuala Lumpur--all 3 do a decent job in terms of upgrades with views of the Petronas Towers, breakfast and/or club lounge access.
