I wrote the question and can tell you that your statement is incorrect.

First, if the question for the poll was “Are you actually going to let your membership lapse?”, then the answers would have to either be yes or no. What is the sense of that? With the polling technology available in the current version of the vBulletin bulletin board software that powers FlyerTalk, I cannot add another option along the lines of “If so, then why?” and add choices. This is the reason why the poll is set up in its current state.

Second, I have absolutely no bias whatsoever towards or against members of the former Delta Air Lines SkyMiles or Northwest Airlines WorldPerks frequent flier loyalty programs. I can assure you that this is not “just another thread to allow former Northwest elites to complain.”

By the way, did you even notice what is the first choice to select in the poll?
