I have visited the Lounges during "service" times and I also have encountered times where there was no more food available, even though it was still breakfast time or evening snack time.
I agree with most comments here. The main reason I bought a membership for the WC Clubs was because I could get away from the crowds and have a little snack while waiting for my connection. Now with the limited snack selection and the overcrowded clubs, I feel that I have lost price -value for the membership. The Lounges in Atlanta are terrible. More than once I was redirected to a different lounge, even though my connecting flight was right next to the original lounge. I had already lost time sitting on the plane waiting for a gate to become available and now I am loosing more time because I have to go to a different concourse to a different lounge. Fight for a seat, see an empty limited buffet table and when you ask one of the staff members if more food is coming out, you get an attitude from them telling you that they are finished serving food, even though we still have 45 minutes till the end of the serving time.
I liked the Lounge in Concourse E, not only because of its view to the tarmac but also because of its size and of its food offerings.
My membership expires next year, if I could I would ask for a refund for the remaining year, but I know that I can't, so be it.
I have started to book my flights on Continental and I have bought a new member ship with the Presidents Club, I think compared to Delta Continental does a great job with its Lounges.
