My 2 cents:
Not perfect, but my choice whenever I'm in Vegas:
- I rent a car, so like that it's easier to get in/out from Koval (and from the parking lot to the hotel)
- Smaller hotel (compared to the strip properties) so I get better service
- Platinums do get treated better (upgraded every time - I go avg 4x/year) - plus, I'm not a high roller, so I'm a nobody at places like the Venetian
- reasonably priced (obviously not as nice as rooms at Bellagio/Venetian, but typical for a Westin)
- SPG points/status nights (PH is 10X worse, IMO)
Things I don't like:
- it's very dog-friendly - hate that
- the staff aren't the brightest, but don't think they're spectacular anywhere else in Vegas
- no lounge
