I'm not sure if I will get denied/accepted when I do apply again, but here's my situation:

I applied for the BA Visa 12/11/09 and then tried to apply for the Marriott Rewards card (also Chase) a week or so later and I got a letter saying I was denied. I called the number asking why and they told me that their policy is that you cannot apply for another Chase card within 30 days of the application for the previous one. So, they made it seem that even though I may get approved (which I should based on my credit score) for the Marriott card, they don't allow multiple applications within a 30 day period.
