I don't see the point of 17" laptops. On the move it would be too big, and at a desk I will have a 20"+ monitor and quad core-powered PC. It doesn't make sense to me to have a large laptop.....

Maybe if you don't have the room for a PC and want something you can hide away, but even then a Small Form Factor solution might be better.
