I purchased the Gateway EC-1430u last week and am loving it.

7+ hours of battery life
Larger screen than typical netbook at 11.6 inches
Full-sized keyboard
1.3GHz Intel Pentium SU4100 Dual Core Processor
3GB RAM, 320GB HD
Lite as a feather, no fan noise and no heat output.

Helluva value for $549.
