Why do you think El Al have no reported incidents? They, AFAIK, do full passenger profiling and before you even get to check in you get grilled by two staff. One actually asking the questions and one standing back and watching your reactions. There's none of this damn fool PC. They recognise the threat and do the most they can to stop undesireable PAX travelling!
There is no doubt EL AL are very strict on security, but it took me over an hour to go through the checks at Tel Aviv. Mostly because there were so many passengers and so few staff.
People already complain about fast track being too slow - imagine if it took over an hour, whilst staff ask you stupid questions designed to frustrate and annoy you.
