Why do you think El Al have no reported incidents? They, AFAIK, do full passenger profiling and before you even get to check in you get grilled by two staff. One actually asking the questions and one standing back and watching your reactions. There's none of this damn fool PC. They recognise the threat and do the most they can to stop undesireable PAX travelling!
El Al security works because they target and divide all passengers into different categories. They blatantly target people (Arabs, muslims, people who have visited arab/muslim countries etc etc) without thinking twice about being politically correct etc etc.
UK/US security will never be as good as Israeli because of laws which prevent targetting of certain ethnic/nationilities etc etc. There will always be a loophole to exploit.
