I thought they fixed it so your status updates automatically, but it looks like that isn't happening. So, you may need to call SMS, have them remove and reinsert your SM number in the PNR.
However, the fact that the PNR is for two people could be the problem- when two are on one PNR, upgrades are based on the lowest status, and if your companion has no status, that could be keeping you off the list. If that's the case, you need to ask them to split the PNR.
