Since dep/arr times are based on leaving the gate until arriving at the gate, sometimes airlines will make allowances for traffic at the airport. Since 879 leaves middle of the day when more flights arrive/depart there could be a longer taxi/hold for take-off. 873 leaves at midnight when only a few flights leave so usually gets out without any delays. (not speaking of leaving gate but actually taking off)
