I think for something such as snoring which can be attributed to different causes, it's important for the sufferer to ascertain the cause before attempting the treatment.
I understand what you are saying, but the OP doesn't say that he has any type of disorder. I wasn't saying he has sleep apnea, I was suggesting that since he doesn't say he has apnea, that he may want to check with his physician if this appliance doesn't work for him. He just may have it and not know it. I know my husband had never been diagnosed with apnea and snored like a trooper.
