Honestly, every hotel will meet a different persons needs. I've stayed at PH and still would stay at the Westin Casuarina anytime just for the sole purpose of the laid back atmosphere....though you are correct some might find it too laid back for their purposes.

I dare say the majority of people do not go to Las Vegas to enjoy the "laid back atmosphere".
