Thanks for the weigh-in. That's good enough for our purposes I guess. The Tumi G4 is a bit smaller probably, that explains some of the weight difference. But we now know that the Costco 2009 is by no means a lightweight. It is heavier than the Travelpro Plat5 and that's already not a light case.
