True, that's a legit question, but unfortunately no matter how you pack your bike, it's become impractical to travel with it on many airlines due to cost. $200/one way is rapidly becoming the norm, regardless of how small the case is. And there are some really nice, easy-traveling cases, like the Sci-con out of Italy.
