Where do you draw the line?

Internet Brands (IB) bought FT in order to make profit & their income depends mainly on advertisements driving under google’s shadow. In short: More clicks, more earnings.

The most viewed threads are those with information to take advantage on businesses who making mistakes:

Within the delusively named “Hotel Deals” forum you will find this thread (30K views) and this post (written by a TB member who unsuccessfully sued Starwoods’ Le Parker Meridien New York at Small Claims Court). TB President gleff & owner of this venture referenced to this list on his blog:

Phantom stays are technically ineligible for FFN credit. However there are a couple of properties that credit prepaid no show stays as qualifying. And they’re uber-cheap on weekends, too…

Common sense have it that those members who don’t support fair play are not motivating others to share these loopholes as they instinctively know that there is a good chance that GP will close it.

Other members like you are partial to see assistance of GP associates on this BB but become conscious that loyalty is not a one way street and these questions come in my mind: What are IB's business ethics? & What should we post on this public BB?

Gary applauds you for sharing this GP promotion sent to MP elite members:

As with so many of these promotions, they say “United Airlines® Mileage Plus elite members are invited to..” but the terms and conditions do not say anything about a requirement to be a United elite to earn the bonus. Hyatt doesn’t know whether the participating member is an United elite or not, it’s just that’s who is being marketed to for the offer. In my experience these bonuses generally post for all members, regardless of airline elite status, but one has to test it and see for sure (though if you also comb the terms and conditions of the offer, verify there’s no mention of United elite status, and print that you would likely win an argument if for some reason the miles did not post).
