(EXPIRED) L.A. Andaz $0/night booking

Well, I'm assuming this is a brilliant promotion that Hyatt/Andaz has cooked-up to entice holiday visitors.

I've just booked a few dates in Nov/Dec, inlcuding Christmas/New Years. The hyatt.com booking engine lists the normal rates, but down below is the "WeHo Ho Holiday" rate. The rate details explain there is a $50 Hyatt Gift card and complementary valet parking included in the rate...of $0. That's quite a gesture of Holiday Spirit--many thanks!!!!

Has anyone had any luck lately with a hotel honoring these things?

I guess SPG honored our 50 euro rezzies in Paris, but the chances that a zero rate will be honored seems to be a number approaching zero.

Nice find. I booked a suite for a MR I might take. The only problem I have is there is NO rate information on my receipt. It doesnt say $0 which would be a little safer.

Rate is there

While the confirmation has no rate info, the page which lists the promos DOES have the rate (the page before you confirm). Which is why I took a screen shot.

As someone said...should be interesting.

In the email I got confirming my reservation I got this:
Nightly Rate per Room:
*C* US DOLLARS

Who knows what that means. Also, it's not possible to cancel this rate online for some reason.

Will be interesting to see what happens!

Website

Actually, now that I look again, the rates page lists NO rate for the WeHo Ho package. But if you select it, then go back to that page, it DOES list $0 for the rate of the room you selected.

For each individual booking will they give a $50 gift card ? If so might as well book the the whole of 2010, individually booking each night in the sunset suite valued at $1000 per night

ok, here's my plan.. I booked 3-4 different weekends for some quick MRs from NYC

I printed out (via PDF) the first screen showing $0, the pre-final booking page (showing $0) and my confirmation page that also shows $0...

I doubt they will honor these fares, but I think these PDFs should help me argue my case... right??
