Milwaukee lost a lot more than Denver. Midwest eliminated over 3,000 jobs with the closing of Skyway and the outsourcing of most Midwest jobs. So we shouldn't feel sorry for Denver losing 300 mostly low paying jobs. It would have been nice if Governor Doyle tried to save the family sustaining jobs. The loss of Midwest and Skyway jobs has had a bigger negative economic impact then the Janesville GMC Plant closing. Curious why no one in Wisconsin made an effort to save those jobs or even cares. TPG planned on replacing those jobs all along with the help of Republic. The end result is a lousy airline staffed by mostly young and indifferent employees. I hope people will remember Midwest not "Midwest". Tim must be really proud at what his brand has turned into.
