RJET adding up to 300 jobs

No, this time they are not at MKE.

DEN has been the real loser in all of the job shifts.

While DEN has not produced enough incentives to keep these jobs, I suspect that a lot of pilots and flight attendants would strongly disagree with this.

F9 flight crews because they still have their hub and are not stapled to the bottom of the WN roster, and former YX flight crews because they now have.....nothing.

Milwaukee lost a lot more than Denver. Midwest eliminated over 3,000 jobs with the closing of Skyway and the outsourcing of most Midwest jobs. So we shouldn't feel sorry for Denver losing 300 mostly low paying jobs. It would have been nice if Governor Doyle tried to save the family sustaining jobs. The loss of Midwest and Skyway jobs has had a bigger negative economic impact then the Janesville GMC Plant closing. Curious why no one in Wisconsin made an effort to save those jobs or even cares. TPG planned on replacing those jobs all along with the help of Republic. The end result is a lousy airline staffed by mostly young and indifferent employees. I hope people will remember Midwest not "Midwest". Tim must be really proud at what his brand has turned into.

Hopefully you'll find a way to get over this eventually. Bad things happen in life sometimes. You can't change what has happened. All the best to you as you transition to new employment, Straight.

MKE may lose some jobs to IND.

http://milwaukee.bizjournals.com/mil...&ed=2009-12-09

This is what we previously discussed as a possibility, due to duplication of job functions.

This is what we previously discussed as a possibility, due to duplication of job functions.

Denver-based positions in areas like human resources and finance as well as similar jobs in Milwaukee are under consideration for the next round of relocations, Frontier spokesman Peter Kowalchuk said.
These jobs are already in the process of moving to Indianapolis or Denver if they haven't already.

Republic is not adding jobs... they are moving jobs between cities and eliminating duplicate jobs.

Between the Midwest/Frontier jobs link and the Republic jobs link from the YX website, there are 33 different positions listed. Most are maint, but there are a few others including CSR, ramp, and "Milwaukee Recruiter"

And...the CSR position in Mosinee, Wisconsin is back, an opening just posted 12/4.
