Good analysis. At this point, ACT's in the mid 30s, with heavy overcast, but barely enough humidity for the predicted late afternoon temperature drop to bring us much snow 100 miles N or AUS, 180 NE of SAT. Houston's potential lies in that belt of moisture out of the Gulf low. The 160 miles from here to IAH can make for substantial differences in local weather conditions.

Anything but icing.....
