On the 'english' issue -- it galls me (& makes me a bit 'fearful') when I see pax in exit rows that clearly don't understand/speak English well enough to 'perform' in an urgent situation!

Glad to hear that you don't require crutches or a cane!^ I can totally understand that the body was 'compensating' for the other injury/surgery site & stressed other parts of your body!
