One cannot expect a Hyatt resort to simply give away suites that could be sold otherwise during a major major holiday period.
Given the current economic circumstances more and more suites remain empty and I highly appreciate the possibility to guarantee a suite for 4 stays each year, even on top of the regular suite upgrades I enjoyed without extra cost over the years anyway...
Starting to make up wild stories and trying to force the issue is making the perk go away soon...



So your take on this is just to say, "thanks for checking"? I could not disagree more.
I did not say to be obnoxious. I did not say to lie and make up a wild story. But I will certainly encourage a representative at the highest elite level to try to exhaust all avenues to get me a suite for a special vacation. And if they can't deliver, I'll go to Starwood or somewhere else. We work hard for elite status and I have seen too many times when different agents supply different answers.
Obviously none of us know each other. I can only tell you I treat everyone as I wish to be treated. I'm in a service business and I like to feel I have a right to receive as good as I give.
