Am I the only one who thinks that the "holiday season" has been completely dissolved by advertising and marketing that is totally out of season and out of place? When I was a kid, "the holidays" started on Black Friday and ended on Three Kings Day. Now, Halloween preparation starts in July, Thanksgiving in August, and Christmas seems to be nearly year-round. Yeggggh.
I find it interesting that 3 area Rock Stations are playing Christmas music 24/7 and one of them started Nov 1.

I love Christmas Carols but not for 2 months straight.
