Socrates,
On a similar note, when making reservations on line I always request a ground floor room at the Residence Inn I stay at in Pensacola, FL. When I check in, they give me a room on the 3rd floor and I ask if there were no rooms available on the ground floor. They usually say yes and move me. After this happened several times I asked why they do not read the part of the reservation where I have made "non-guaranteed" room requests, like foam pillows etc., the hotel claims that part of the reservation does not come through to the hotel from corporate. So, is this hotel correct?
