doc ~ As I said in my posting under trip reports, this would definitely be my recommendation for a hotel in the French Quarter unless you absolutely have to have a balcony on Bourbon Street. This location is ideal, being one block off of Bourbon (so it's not as noisy) and the property is very very nice (though I did not get an opportunity to see if the rooms are typically small luckily!).

This property is truly right in the heart of the French Quarter.
