jsnearline good news about your mom!

I too was surprised to find that UA would refund the tickets when I was hospitalized and unable to fly last year. I had just expected to be able to use the balance after deduction of the $150 change fee when a CSR suggested I request a refund from the refund department. I provided them a letter from my doctor and although it took them a bit more than 30 days they refunded all four tickets.
