I've flown that flight many times, and dinner in F is about 50/50. If it's loaded and served, it's a salad and fruit. However, I've run to make that flight after coming in from a COEX flight on a tight connection returning home from work, and gotten on board and been told "There's no meal on this flight." The next week I'd do the same and there would be a meal. I'm not sure what the deal with that particular flight is, but I've found that flight to be very hit and miss when it comes to meal service.
Indeed I was. I don't mind the no food - it's only airline food after all. It's the having to track down dinner that killed me. It would have been REALLY easy had they just said there wasn't any food. Then I could have gotten some BBQ and been on my way.
