All of the Germans in my office are rather proud that today is the 20 year anniversary of the Berlin wall falling. :-:

They were standing around the water cooler today sharing their memories of the occasion and it seems that, universally, the one thing they share in common is that they all saw David Hasselhoff perform at the site of the wall. And, as Germans like to do when they get together -- they all started singing.
