I'd avoid this hotel if you are expecting the typical Renaissance experience. I was there about a month ago with 3 co-workers. The hotel appeared to be a conversion from another chain and not quite up to the expected standards. The air conditioning in 2/3 rooms had to be worked on while we were there and the other couldn't keep up with the heat. The pool was small for a Orlando hotel. The room itself was nothing special.
I guess you get what you pay for in this case. For Marriott properties, I'd recommend the Marriott Worldgate. It runs ~$179, but the pool area alone is just about worth it.
