Today is my last MR, finally made 1k this year...whoosh! lol.
So, tonight I leave SFO on the 1040pm, arriving into Logan at 715am (no luggage due to MR). My rtn flight is the 1230pm BOS-SFO.
I always just hang in the terminal, have lunch, read, etc.
But this time, I am thinking that I do have enough time to leave Logan, grab lunch somewhere by the dock or waterfront right?
Suggestions? Also, having never taken the public transport out of Logan, and I did some Google'ing: I can take the free shuttle from Terminal C to the Blue line train right? and gets me to the waterfront in about 30mins?
What would you guys/gals do?
Mahalo from SFO!
Patrick :-)
Given that you'll want to be back at Logan around 11:30, that's gonna be a awfully early lunch! But you certainly have time to head into Boston.
When you arrive, head down to the baggage claim level, walk outside, and look for the blue MassPort bus signs. (At the UA terminal, you need to walk across the street to the island to catch the bus.) Take either the 33 or the 55 bus to the subway station (a free, five-minute ride). At the subway station, you can purchase a "Charlie ticket" for your subway fare (you also can purchase it at the airport, near the baggage claim). Take an "inbound" train to the Aquarium station.
If your flight is on time, you'll be at in town by 8am. The Aquarium station is a good starting point for walking around the waterfront, the Fanueil Hall area, and the North End.
