I note at Hilton's New Openings web site that a full service property is scheduled to open in early 2010 (there is already a HGI in Carlsbad).

Hilton.com does not allow one to book this property as far out as next Oct 27, 2010.

Being a Hilton property, i understand there will be a significant delay from the scheduled opening.

Just wondering if anyone knows anything more about this resort and whether it is in fact destined to happen?

UPDATE January 2011:

Apparently this hotel is really going to happen! Scheduled construction to be complete in 2012...
