Can't do anything about it now, but for the future ... Even if you make a phone reservation, always ask for an e-mail confirmation. That way you have written documentation and don't have to get into a "he said," "she said" discussion.

By way of example, my parents booked the Rancho Las Palmas in Rancho Mirage, CA, but the agent put them in the Desert Springs in Palm Desert. Without documentation, it would have been difficult to decide who was correct.
