Yet,.........

I stayed in a Marriott property last week with friends....I reserved both rooms under my name and Marriott rewards #. Friend checked out after a 5 night stay, using her own credit card, yet receipt showed my Rewards # and accumulated points, and the Front Desk Clerk specifically handed her the receipt and said "Mrs. Flyerwife will get these points credited to her account"....... then when I checked out after 9 days my receipt appeared, as usual, with my rewards # and point total.

Account # appeared at the top of my friends folio with the letter designation M after it; my folio showed my account # with the designation H after it......

The stay(s) have not posted as of yet, but I fully expect both will, and, if not, I have valid folio receipts with my name and account # on both.
