I've been wondering when someone would point that out. I knew this to be the case but was too lazy to verify the latitude of the CA/OR border on Google Earth. Well done, uncertaintraveler!

Having returned to live in Toronto three years ago after many years in milder climes (including California) I can confirm that the climate here is horrible, and certainly nothing at all like what one encounters along the Pacific coast.

Fortunately, despite its problems Toronto still has a lot going for it.
