i average between 150-170 nights in a hotel per year....when in india i'm always staying at a taj property, is the US i stay with spg & hilton gets all my london & asia (besides india) stays....i always end up requalifying for top status with all 3....i like the choice of staying at a starwood property in india when taj is not an option, but with no hiltons in india currently i have been thinking of moving away hh....i will now start to move most of my hilton stays in asia to spg....but there are a few hilton properties i will stick with (hilton singapore, hilton london metropole), not because of any loyalty to hilton but to those properties in general....i have 5 stays left to requalify for diamond & had over a dozen stays booked before the end of this year....now with the current devaluation of points in this economy, no hilton properties left in my country & no free night offered to me, i just feel hilton is not doing enough to retain me as a customer, so i'm not sure if i want to get those 5 stays to requalify....maybe give them to spg instead....
