I'm giving US the forced benefit of the doubt for my Christmas trip. I cancelled the unreasonably changed CO itinerary (after the agent tried to put me on a connection to a train) and ended up with PHL-FLL/PBI-PHL. My desire to work in a CLT stop for the lines and dots was met with Is Not Possible due to airport transit issues (read: no one was willing to wake up that early on Christmas morning to take me to FLL) and so I settle for the new line of PBI-PHL.

They have yet to screw me like they did you, and given my frequency of air travel compared to yours, I'm willing to bet that such a screwing will likely not happen to me. Plus, with the idea being that I will be making a living out near Fianceeland, it's really hard to sell EWR to the other half, as she doesn't care about this stuff nearly as much as I do.
