If I host anything it will not be for a couple months given all of the events looming in the near future. Cost may be an issue for some, but I should be able to plan out something that allows us to "get a taste" without a full meal.

The wine dinner at Fahrenheit was about $50 for the food and, IIRC, a about the same for the wine, perhaps a little more.

Lola, Lolita, L'Albatros, Table 45, Bar Symon (most likely out due to distance) and Paralax all have great atmosphere and starters, so it will be more a matter of logistics.
