One should factor in luggage size when choosing to fly.

I'll go next month from East coast. Plan to overnight in the IC (even I am HH Diamond)then ferry to Moorea next day. The IC is cheapest with the F&F rate and look nicer than Hilton PPT. I remember Hilton will arrange transfer between Moorea dock and the hotel if you let them know which ferry you will be on in advance. BTW anyone holding reservation for garden bungalow will be upgraded into OWV for free in the next few months since they are closing those room for renovation.
