My wife and I are arriving at the Papeete airport on a Saturday night in November, too late to catch the ferry to Moorea. So, we will spend one night in Papeete. I have two choices for the Papeete hotel, HHonors points at the Hilton or Starwood points at Le Meridien. Which would be most convenient (and cheapest) for the Airport-Hotel taxi transfer Saturday night and the Hotel-Ferry taxi transfer Sunday morning. Unfortunately we will have to take taxis, as we will have too much luggage for other options (We follow the stay on Moorea with a ten-day cruise).

The other information in this thread was very helpful. We will be staying at the Hilton on Moorea for three nights, and it is useful to know that the hotel likely will provide a shuttle from the ferry dock.
