I am looking into going to go Moorea for my honeymoon around this time next year and will be very curious how your experience was with the boat/plane,the hotel and the whole trip in general. I would love to hear any feedback that you have when your trip is over. I am pretty much in the same boat as you as I currently live on the East coast and have Diamond status so I am curious about how you handled your flights and if you received any upgrades.
