During my interview I could not see the screen the CBP was viewing. I don't remember entering my ss# on the application--I thought that would be needed to access IRS tax info.
Could they have gotten income info from another source, say credit bureau files?
Pretty sure ssn was on the application, but even if it wasn't they could easily get it via your passport which you do key in.
